Which one you should actually use
Choose Claude Cowork if…
You already pay for Claude, your work is documents, research and files, and you want finished deliverables with no setup and no software to run. Cowork is the fastest path from a sentence to a formatted spreadsheet or deck.
Choose AGNT if…
You want the operation to outlive any one chat: workflows on a canvas, goals graded against criteria, per-agent budgets, receipts on your disk, and the freedom to run each job on a different model — including a local one, at no cost.
Using both
Use Claude for ad-hoc knowledge work and AGNT for the recurring operations you want to standardise, measure and audit. AGNT can also delegate coding work to Claude Code.

Is Claude Cowork being discontinued?
Anthropic says Cowork and chat are becoming one Claude: you ask for what you need and Claude decides whether it is an answer or a task. This is rolling out to Pro and Max plans first.
